A sample of some N.B. Kenney Company, Inc current and completed projects include the following:

Marriott Crown Colony Hotel: Braintree, MA; A 500 room luxury hotel built for the Marriott Corporation. This project was built using the “design assist” delivery system and was completed from start to finish within 16 months.

MIT Central Athletic Facility: Cambridge, MA; This building which serves as the “centrpiece” of the athletic community at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology boasts one of the areas only true indoor Olympic training pool.

Simmons Hall Dormitory at MIT: Cambridge, MA; An award winning design by architect Steven Holl, this 350 bed dormitory, included a dining hall, auditorium, and other shared facilities.

Suffolk County Courthouse Renovation: Boston, MA; This project was a 96 million dollar historic renovation of the 120 year old Suffolk County Courthouse. The largest obstacle that needed to be overcome during construction was “coordinating the new HVAC systems into the confines and historical fabric of a structure with little or no existing capacity for new technology”. Later renamed the “John Adams Court House” was completed in 2004. This building now houses the State’s most important judicial institutions, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, The Massachusetts Appeal Court, and the Social Law Library.

Additions & Renovations at Milton High School: Milton MA; This 24 month phased project successfully converted the current Junior High School facility into a new High School complex. Completely new HVAC systems were furnished, installed and delivered on time.

Renovations at Boston Latin High School: Boston, MA; This 24 month historic renovation involved installing completely new HVAC systems while maintaining the operations of what is considered the oldest running High School program in the nation.

New Campus Center at UMASS: Boston, MA; Considered the “front door of the university “this highly successful new 100 million dollar 331,000 square foot campus center boasts a “state of the art “HVAC system. Completed in late 2003 this was one of the largest public construction projects completed in the last 10 years.

Hold Baggage Screening, Logan International Airport: Boston, MA; In the wake of 911, this project was the first baggage screening facility completed by the TSA under the Congressional mandate to implement 100% baggage screening at all of the nation's airports by December 31st, 2002. What was an extremely difficult and ultimately successful project, 6 million dollars of HVAC work was performed in a 4 month period without disrupting the operations of a major international airport.

Center for International & Government Studies, Harvard University: Cambridge, MA; This 249,000 square foot project built for Harvard University. CGIS encompasses two mirror- image buildings which house the Department of Government, the MIT-Harvard Data Center, and a host of international study centers.

The Convention Center (Westin) Hotel: Boston, MA; This 200 million Westin hotel is slated to open in the summer of 2006. Located on the South Boston waterfront, this new 790 room hotel will be joined to the newly opened Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. This state of the art hotel and conference center houses over a million square feet of HVAC systems located on sixteen levels.

The Charles Street Jail Hotel: Boston, MA; This 100 million dollar project involved the historic conversion of the old Charles Street Jail into a 308 room boutique hotel connecting to the new Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care, a recently opened addition to Mass General Hospital.

The Macallen Condominiums: Boston, MA; This projects which is the first residential “green” building in Boston, utilizes the latest in innovative and environmental friendly technologies. Unconventional in shape as well, we overcame many coordination challenges to fit the mechanical systems in while maintaining the integrity of the living space.

Lakeside Addition, UMass Memorial Hospital: Worcester, MA; This project involved the construction of the new 264,000 square foot “Lakeside Expansion” expansion which houses emergency, trauma, clinical care, and surgical suites. This 129 million dollar expansion which was completed in little more than a year involved more than 15 million dollars of Plumbing and HVAC services which were performed in concert with the workings of Central Massachusetts largest healthcare facility.

Boston Medical Center, J. Joseph Moakley Medical Services Building: Boston, MA; This project is a state-of-the-art comprehensive cancer care center which brings together all cancer services of the BMC under one roof. This highly technical building includes extensive plumbing and medical gas services and is due to open in late 2006

The McCormick Federal Post Office / Courthouse: Boston, MA; N.B. Kenney Company has recently been awarded the HVAC portion of this 120 million dollar historical renovation. The project is slated for a 30 month duration and is due to commence in May 2006
